Almac has developed a reputation as a reliable and quality source for the repair, overhaul and upgrade of decanter type centrifuges. Upon arrival, the centrifuge is dismantled, cleaned and evaluated to determine and document the repair scope. We encourage our customers to visit our repair facility to view the centrifuge and to go through the proposed repair scope.

Following approval to proceed, components are either refurbished or remanufactured in-house to regain the required dimensions and tolerances. The major rotating component assemblies are then balanced to API 610 and the centrifuge reassembled. Before the repair is considered complete, the centrifuge is mounted on our test frame, run at operating speed and monitored for vibration and bearing temperatures. The customer is supplied with a final documentation package which includes as found and rebuilt dimensions, clearances and vibration readings.
